We started with a vision to be a solace for each person in the community, to be the door that can be knocked in times of distress, Venmenad Mahal Association, a joint initiative lead by the people of Venmenad Mahal, stands today with a history of a community which comes together at the moment a need arises in one family or the other. With many initiatives underway, the members strives to achieve an attainable dream of each family housed, healthy, employed, educated and debt free.
With an aim to shelter the homeless, to make sure each person has a place to call home, housing projects was started as one of the major initiatives and thus has a record of 35 families housed with 12 applications pending.
Rations, education and employment supports are some other projects extended by the association. With a goal to enhance and promote the betterment of the community, VMA marches ahead to be the hope for each member of our Mahal.
